Whatever your part was in the Ferguson Day of Hope, we thank you tremendously for we couldn’t have had a successful event without your participation! As overview of the Day of Hope Ferguson - Saturday July 25, 2015: · We served 3,270 people · Connection/Prayer Tent prayed with 2,616 people · There were 40 Churches involved · 20 of those churches were involved in the Connection/Prayer Tent · 22 Community Agencies were involved · 12 Heath Agencies were involved · 793 served in the NBCF Tent (National Breast Cancer Foundation) · Plum Organics: 10,500 smoothies given away, 1,159 Nutritional Kits · 1,539 pairs of Women’s Shoes given away · 150 Haircuts · 191 Portraits · 84 Resumes · 800 volunteers · 55 People gave their life to Christ!

On Sunday, The Spirit Church celebrated forward-movement and the accomplishments of Spirit Church members. Pastor Aeneas and Pastor Tracy acknowledged six graduates.

Thousands of area residents will receive hope in the form of free groceries, health services, haircuts, games and activities for children, DJ entertainment, prizes and giveaways, and more. Guests will also have opportunity to hear the gospel and receive prayer for personal needs. Following the event, ‘Connections’ churches will work to build relationships with new believers through home visits and one-on-one discipleship.

Join marriage expert Jimmy Evans with special guest John Gray this summer, July 10-11, for our largest conference ever, providing help and hope to both healthy and hurting marriages.

When the events of Ferguson happened back in August and into the 2014-2015 school year, one of the schools greatly affected was Koch elementary school in the Riverview Gardens School District. Many of their children lived in the Canfield Apartments where Michael Brown died and many more lived in the communities that were blanketed with media and police.

On Sunday, members of the Spirit Church rolled up their sleeve to save a life.
